benboy studios (benboy.com) is my personal website, plain and simple. conceptualized at the start of the year 2001. it took a while before the site went live, was up for about a year and half then the site went thru some revisions, domain name was almost stolen, went on hiatus and some drama behind the scenes.

so with that aside... welcome to benboy studios.

why benboy?
i got the name "benboy" from my taiwanese co-workers. for some reason, they had trouble pronouncing monosyllabic names. so they called me "ben-ben". in mandarin that meant "stupid-stupid", definitely not a hit with women.

i asked them to change it to something maybe "cuter", and my co-workers, obedient and creative as they are, came up with, u guessed it, "benboy". cuz my name's ben and, well... i'm a boy. now, if i was gay then i would be... never mind.

so for kicks, i bought the domain name and i had verio host my site. and the rest, forgive me for using the cliché, is history.

gotta mention this, worked my ass off for this... the site's xhtml 1.0 transistional validated! no tables for layout and all css baby! u know what that means, a lot of frustrated netscape 4 users cursing me right now.

what next?
navigation around the site is relatively easy. no need to explain what each of the buttons on top do, they're pretty much self explanatory..
