hi, i'm meriben, but for now, u can call me ben. so how's it goin?

i'll try to make this short and painless, cuz i'm no writer.

i'm chinese, grew up in the philippines, currently living in the bay area, and as of this writing, still employed. *whew*. filipinos here are surprised when i start speaking tagalog, and natives think i'm from around here. so it's quite a trip.

hobbies... i have a few. i play basketball, go to the gym, work on cars, drag race, web develop, bike, and actually doing groceries(which includes buying healthy food, it's a weird fetish i have right now which coincides with going to the gym).

so let's see, if i start describing myself by my standards, u might accuse me of narcisism or utter modesty :D so what to do? i'll just tell u what i've heard from other people.

co-workers (past and present) since i'm at work most of the day, would describe me as "cool", "well dressed", "mr.GQ", "funny", "great designer", "hard worker", "smart worker", "cute", "dork", "that dorky chinese guy who's a filipino wannabe", "dependable", "creative", "smart young man", "da man!".

almost the same description from friends, though in addition, some would describe me as "a playah", "not a flaker", "a flaker", "always there if u need help", "lazy", "super friendly"

ex-gf's would describe me as "vain", "superficial" and a "loser" :D heh!

i'm still in the process of bettering myself, it's always a work in progress as u might say. might be a little too late, but hey, u gotta start somewhere.
